  • <Day 3.5>


    Back from Town Hall, Darling Habour, China Town and nearby area. It is never a good idea to visit Sydney after 5pm in Winter time. 


    The E. House near Town Hall – not the one with green box in causewaybay – i forget the real/ true/ correct name, i don’t even know whether it is called E. House - is an old-style 18-century UK-victorian 3-storey landmark-like house (wah… my English gets significant improvement in three days), big names have shops.  Very very nice.


    Then i was supposed to visit the aqua-museum near Darling Habour.  WTF, just like the “Tsing-long Water Park” in Tai Wai years ago. Dare not visit.


    Then I walked along the coast (I assure you that it’s really a long coast) to Opera House again. It’s crazy. I was walking for two hours unstopped. I saw KPMG, EY, PwC’s buildings (I realise why BIG 4 in HK has so many skullhead Aust accountants.) anyway.


    I eventually tried “Fish and chips” in Sydney.  Nice.


    I was supposed to back with Train in Circular Quay… but once i discovered it’s easier to get a receipt from taking a cab than a train…


    Something interesting : People are lining up at ticket offices in train station during peak time.  There are only one or two ticket machines. The line is so long that if it were in HK, you will guess it must be selling Concert Tickets or Bathing Ape Stuff. Wah. Sarah Liao should have gone down when this is in HK. Don’t ask why.


    OH OH OH, miss one important thing. Globalization. You guess what i saw in Chintown? RIGHT! it’s Falunkon!!!!!!


    I was about to embrace them~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sad that they didn’t distribute “Tai Kee Yuan”… -__________-


    Despite all the boredom, I have very favourable ratings on Sydney.

    Another Reason to Envy Brad Pitt




    My principles text includes a case study on the fact that more attractive people are paid more. (See the chapter on Earnings and Discrimination.) A new study on the beauty premium tells us more about the phenomenon:



    Using a rich set of data from the College of Economics at the University of XX, we examine the effects of students’ physical appearance on examination results. We find evidence that beauty has a significant impact on academic performance, a result which is consistent with and comparable to the impact found in the labor market literature.


    In addition, since we can compare student performances in oral and written exams, where in the latter the evaluation is blind, i.e., not influenced by physical appearance, we can in fact understand better the source of the “beauty premium”, that is disentangle productivity from discrimination effects. We find that the effect of beauty on academic performance cannot be ascribed to pure professor discrimination. One could then argue that to the extent that wages rise with educational attainments, our findings corroborate the hypothesis that the payoffs to beauty reflect differences in productivity.

    這也算了, 鬼叫人地係鬼佬. 最令人感到過份的是他的兩位老婆 : 天使 J 與魔鬼 J.


    看老友記的男生, 十之六七是為了看珍妮花.安歷史頓 (jennifer aniston). 不可否認的是, 老友記的笑話的確好正. 想當年我日日走堂去英文中心睇老友記, 都係為左係呢個污染既世界既一道清泉. 珍妮花, 清純, 可愛, 美麗, 秀色可餐, 細細粒, 柔弱, 率直, 弱不禁風, 我見尤憐. 看到她你就會情不自禁想去保護她, 抱著她.


    據講, 畢生唔要珍妮花, 係因為後者生唔到仔 – 估唔到畢生拍完套 西藏活佛 什么什么 (個名唔記得), 個人俾中國文化既 d 咁既傳忠接代既思想污染埋, 死都要生仔先安樂. 不過, 如果你睇下現家 (3X 歲) 既珍妮花, 己經係一朵殘花, 雖然未到敗柳, 但起碼以畢彼特呢個神一般既軀體, 起碼唔想再做護花使者.


    再者, 你又望一望畢生個現任老婆 安祖蓮拿. 祖利 (angelina joeie). 若說珍妮花是天使, 以魔鬼形容安祖蓮拿實在不過份. 作為一套荷李活 A 級制作費的電影黎講, <盜墓者羅拉> 實在比起王晶的野蠻秘笈更加垃圾. 入場的男生付五十元, 或是用 BT 等三天下載成功, 除了是滿足由 Tom Raider 第一集打到第七集 的毒癮外 – 情形同大家係 HKIFF 訂飛睇 FF7 差唔多 – 又有十之八九係想睇 安祖蓮拿那 40Z 的胸前偉大.


    安祖蓮拿那水汪汪的眼精, 誘惑的雙唇, 豐滿的身驅, 野性的胴體, 簡直像非洲大草原上的一隻野馬, 正等待你馴服. 只要微微張開雙腳, 把浴衣拉低兩吋, 以眼角拋拋錨, 世間不知多少男生立刻成為獵人, 在電腦面前除衭去捕捉這隻性感尤物.


    我與不少朋友都認為, 畢彼特到今天還沒有精盡人亡, 實在顯示了洋人的 船 堅 炮 利. 這是李小龍做不到的.


    神龍給我一個願望的話, 我希望成為半年畢彼特. 要係拍緊史密夫與史密妻個個畢彼特. 對, 個陣畢生起緊雙飛, 成日係徘徊係天使同魔鬼之間.


    還有畢生之前既女友, 影后 XXXXX. 柏德烈芙 – 我到今日都未記得佢個名 – 即七宗罪的女主角. 一看便知, 柏德烈芙是個修養極高, 又有內涵, 知書識禮, 啖吐溫文的女生. 人間最美好的事情, 便是有一個聰明的女友 – 即懂得係適當時白痴, 適當時聰明 -的人類.


    天堂, 地獄與人間, 畢生四十年已經去晒. 夫復何求? 佢死左應該唔使燒美女俾佢. 那個紙扎版安祖蓮拿, 留給史弟好了.

    And from above you can imagine that how many people in the world envy Brad Pitt.

  • <Day 2.5>

    Lazybrenda : come on… i am not moving at my own will…. i am not here for vacation anyway… Though i really enjoyed sleeping on the grass in the Botanic Garden (forget the name) next to the Opera House.  They have a sign in the Garden telling you “PLEASE STEP ON THE GRASS”. Can you imagine that in HK?

    A couple of “great” things to share -

    1. A pack of Malboro Lights + a lighter (that’s how you kill time) = A$11.5 = HK$60. The taste of Malboro Lights here is really shitty. And there is a photo on pack saying something like Smoking cause emyhsetataer (forget the name. It is NOT cancer anyway). The photo is scary.

    But the ironical thing is, until you buy the cigarettes, you cannot see the photo. Once you’ve got the cigarettes, there is no reason whatsoever – fuck, forget about suck cost (i am serious, S-U-C-K cost) – you should throw away the cigarettes because of that photo.

    I hereby suggest several ways on the design of package so as to deter people from smoking :

    - Attach a time bomb with it, indicating that smoking is equivalent to tying yourself with a timebomb.  Flexibility : *****;  Cost : *, Effectiveness : ******************

    - Put a photo of Wong Hai Wai or William Hung, equally scary.  But people might collect a full set of these cigarette packages to fry. Flexibility : *****, cost : ******, effectiveness : *

    Comments are welcome.

    2. The place i’m living is just opposite to that of John Howard, the prime minister of Aust.

    3. Following 2, I could see the Sydney Opera House in my room.  That’s rather amazing.

    4. I had dinner in the Quay Bar (I forget the name) next to The Rocks.  The view (which is actually Sydney Opera House and nearby) is excellent but the food really sucks.

    5. McDonald’s (I reiterate that trying local Mcdonalds is the very first thing one should do when visiting a new place) McNuggets are great – at least it tastes a little bit like chicken.  Not like the cement McNuggets in HK. But the french fries really suck. I didn’t realize seagulls could eat french fries.. otherwise i gave them all…

    6. Australians are really nice.

    SO at the end of the day who is interested in reading an English xanga? I myself even won’t take a look.

    Such scentific evaluation has been in MingPao for weeks.  Everytime i read it, I don’t know whether i should laugh or be angry.  Wat the hell is the editor thinking about? Does he think from next year onwards the HK Examination Authority will start extracting A-maths questions from newspaper?

    It’s my second day in Australia. 


    I totally understand why Aust is the ideal place for retirement, especially when you have insufficient money for the rest of your life. 



    Before you could spend all of your money, you are bored to death.

    And I just discover how “front-door dog” i am… I miss Hong Kong, I miss you guys, I miss my gf, I miss using “Cho Kit” to type Xanga.


    Insane.


    Bored to death.




    In the coming fews days there is no worldcup match.  Good. Bored to death.

    I went to the Sydney Opera House today.  SO~~~~~~~~ beautiful.

    Australians are so angry about their loss to Italy yesterday night.
